Electric bikes have surged in popularity, and so have the number of models. We play matchmaker every day, helping customers figure out what they actually need and direct them to their best fit. The best part of our job is watching people light up after their first e-bike experience. We've also made long-distance purchases a comfortable process by being readily available to out of state customers. All bikes are tested and tuned before shipping and require only minimal assembly. We are also committed to continuing to take care of our customers long after their purchase.

Hey buddy, what about the Big dummy surly or the Big easy Surly ?
Tragedy of the commons. Ownership is the only way to avoid it.
No offense, but Tara is far more aesthetically pleasing.
Love such a technical talk myself being an engineer. People not technical sometimes have no clue minor details can make a big difference! Got very good experience with MT7, best brakes I had having quite vast experience on DH and Enduro bikes BUT with original rotors. On Sram rotors although 220 they didnt perform really well, whereas with oem Storm 203 on the front very well. Now got Bruni's levers and 220 mm MDR-P rotors front and rear, as for DH rear is hack an important brake and hope this ends my ultimate break set search for a long time.
I rotate my tire air
Haven't pumped my tires in a year. They hold air like a dream
I pump my tire up when it needs air👍😂
This can’t be safe in a major metropolitan area with kids…
Back when I was a teenager I was riding a BMX bike in Tripp pants (super baggy pants) and they got caught in the chain and ripped all the way up to my knee.
I’d be dying under that during the Texas summer. Add air conditioning and you might have something.
Except Tornadoes and dangerous infrastructure. Other than that, yeah there aren't really any excuses to not bike.
And the cost of this miracle of transport is....?
Certainly less than a car! But it is in fact not a cheap bike.
Cheaper than the maintenance cost of a car, even if i buy a new one of these things every year
@@Icemanfreezer7 And to specify, it's less than a car that requires this little maintenance. Sure you can get a used $5k car or even less but even if you get a 2007 Corolla for 4k you still have to pay for registration, maintenance, gas, and not to mention all the yearly expenses. It'd be cheaper to ride a bike in the city and rent a car for longer trips
I rock 23mm tires with TPU tubes on one of my bikes and it needs air daily.
Blackout 2 is what I want for early American fourth of July Christmas. 💝🐱
So proud of all you students! You make us proud. 💞✨
i would like to see a documentary on the history of Propel. Keep it up. America needs to stop being so car dependent. thank you
Cargo MOTORbike. Pretty bad for the climate. Why are Americans too lazy to cycle?
Today is June 23rd 2024. Does R&M still offer the Packster 60?
Hey Gregg! Not exactly but the transporter is very close to the same design
what are the other 5 tips?
A crying shame , you don't a shop in Tasmania ( Where I live ?
I just got a flat tire, had to walk a ways to get home, this is a first for me
Back when I did road races on a regular bike, I checked tire pressure before every ride. Only takes a couple minutes and it helps the ride and the bike long term
The Dutch man being interviewed said (paraphrasing) ‘if you are riding over 20KPH, people wear helmets.” That’s 12mph for those in the states. If he is correct, The Dutch, on their daily lifestyle rides must be riding quite slowly…….
Might wanna include the name in the title lol
They’re heavier than a regular bike, hence the need for “premium summer air!”😉😁
I pump up my tyres when they NEED it. It really is that simple and nothing to lose sleep over or even think about. I cycle every day so I think I am qualified to have a valid opinion.
I don't bother shifting down at stops. I know it's harder to get back up to speed starting at a higher gear. But I have the muscle to do it. It feels like a lazy thing. I am too lazy to shift gears and just stay in the gear I use at top speed or cruising speed. But I never considered the fact that it's applying extra strain or force on the drive train. I don't think I have ever had to replace a chain or any other part of the drive train. But since I am starting to use bikes more and as I consider getting an ebike it may be more important for me now then ever to better take of the drive train.
The most common mistake I see is going too fast for conditions and their skill level. I had a person on an ebike (electric motorbike) pass me on a trail without warning and was about to hit someone going the opposite direction head on. So he cut sharply in front of me and crashed. I was able to leave the trail and miss him. If this had happened in another spot, where you can't bail off the trail, I would have had a very bad day.
I love my ebike, until I imagine an uphill road
If my city had more protected lanes I would absolutely get one of these bikes and get rid of my car
Hello Chris. My Bosch intuvia switches on but is not connecting to the motor, there is no drive assist. The battery works as I have swapped it on my wife’s bike. I have cleaned the connectors. The sensor is in the right position. My side switch goes through the various assist stages ie eco etc. the lights also do not switch on. The intuvia shows a full battery, and I have charged it for 12 hours. I cannot seem to find the issue. Can you help please? Thank you
Forgot to say, there is no speedometer showing. Thank you
Low center-of-gravity means everything!
Not wrong there. It's mandatory to check if your tires are good to go before the out. If not, then get them pumped with air with whatever you have (portable pumper, or from a gas station). The bike will thank you on the long run by having itself a smooth run with you. If you have semi-pumped tires, it might make the bike boing on the ground on some occasions, or worse, you might get a flat tire and tire you AF.
We dont have a gun that's why.
The best and originator is and always will be Urban Arrow, from the bike country #1 The Netherlands. I wished they went into regular biks too. I love my Tender 2500, which can haul 400kg in total.
I'm inclined to be in the Keep Propel as the name camp. It's short and appropriate. I found this channel when looking for reviews of Tern bikes and got hooked by Chris's informative style. I didn't connect it to a bike shop until watching a bunch of the videos. Perhaps use Moving Differently as the Propel channel tagline. But, under any name, I will continue to watch. I really like the expanding of topics and advocacy for all types of bike uses. Thanks for doing what you do.
Question for Chris: Do you think the HSD S00 with the Enviolo hub is suitable for touring that would include some hilly terrain, on roads? I like the belt drive for low maintenance. I would not have too much cargo for touring...maybe 50 lbs. Thanks for your thoughts on this.
He only said one thing
In addition to that. When there are a lot of people around DO NOT turn on the motor! Just COMMON SENSE! Get it? Need to help to get common sense? Let me know, I’ll TEACH YOU!
NYC can be such a fantastic bike friendly city with raised bike lanes that’re wide and on both sides of the street with Dutch style intersections, priority for bikes at signals and at some sections completely remove signals by making the sidewalk raised and continuous thus forcing car drivers to yield to bikes and pedestrians.
You don't see the Dutch driving cars like maniacs in the city centers or the kids moto-crossing off ramps. Sensible driving and riding must have a lower risk.
Come on America, wake up and see the potential. Second "car," and children's chief toy is riding, exploring, and unlimited FUN!
Haha too late for most of the western world, the egregious part is we push onto non-Western nations our way of life.....
Hydrogen powered E-Bikes.
How wide are those tyres?
Just come across this video, very useful, many thanks!! I have a Bosch e-bike and I have the dealer software. When switched on the software states the motor is in "FBL Mode" and needs reprogramming???? Is this something i can do myself with the software??? Any clues would be gratefully received,
nice woman, very sweet and also attractive.
I found that the ebike just flattens out my ride a little bit. It’s like having a peloton that can actually go places
Something I now see on cars I had on K2 mountain bikes 20+ years ago and seems to have disappeared. K2/Noleen Smart Shocks that used a 9 volt battery and a simple control mech to change the stiffness of a shock. It was using then I believe a magnetised oil. By running an electric curent through it, it changed the thickness of the oil by changing the magnetic particles suspended in the oil. These days I can imagine with modern sensor technology and an "AI" (machine learning) algorithm, similar DJI gimbles, the shock could be real time responsive to the enviroment giving a constantly flat on pavement experience no matter how out of shape the actual road is.
Affordable accesories: helmets with incorporated lights and backpacks
Lousy helmet makers 😂 They should sell thinner deisgner helmets for these comuters, but I v not Seen any yet,,,,,,or is it the law ?
